The Spud Drive-in was built in 1953. It is still in operation today! Between Victor and Driggs, Idaho, The Spud offers views of the Big Hole mountain range. Along with showing new release films, occasional throwbacks, and offering a full service snack bar, The Spud offers overnight accommodations.
Our overnight guests can watch the current showing from their porch, or from within the outdoor hot tub! With stunning sunsets and a blanket of stars at night, The Spud offers a piece of Mother Nature’s magic, as well as nostalgic fun like nowhere else.
Jedd and Katie Mumm are the current managers of The Spud. Both have deep roots in South East Idaho, and are so happy to call Teton Valley their home. They are given the opportunity to manage The Spud by the current owner Lenny Zaban, a long time homeowner and supporter of Teton Valley. Jedd and Katie met Lenny through teaching his girls skiing and snowboarding at Grand Targhee, and have developed respect and a lasting friendship with him throughout the years.
We appreciate our community in so many ways, and hope you know that we are committed to keeping this treasure here. Thank you for your support, dedication, and understanding as we learn and grow into this position!
